In a study conducted by Agusta University, they concluded, "A two-week course of high doses of CBD helps restore the function of two proteins key to reducing the accumulation of beta-amyloid plaque, a hallmark of Alzheimer's disease, and improves cognition in an experimental model of early-onset familial Alzheimer's". In a study published by the National Library of Medicine, researchers studying the therapeutic effect of CBD-enriched ointment in inflammatory skin diseases and cutaneous scars found, "the results showed that topical treatment with CBD-enriched ointment significantly improved the skin parameters, the symptoms and also the PASI index score."
